Job Description

Company & Group Details of Front End Developer:

•The Front End Web Developer is part of collaborative team that is responsible for implementing new features and functions as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality. This role will utilize previous e-Commerce experience to identify and create improvements in site implementation..

Responsibilities of Front End Developer:

Develop and maintain the UI tier based on industry best practices
Develop functional and technical documentation
Implement changes in an agile environment to meet changing business needs
Support team goals and improve web development engineering practices
Requirements for Front End Developer:

4 Year degree in an IT related field
4+ years writing custom JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS#
Expertise writing semantic, modular front end code using HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding practices
Experience with CSS frameworks (SASS, LESS) and Javascript MV frameworks a plus
Experience using jQuery
Experience using JSP/JSTL or similar server side templating language (PHP, ASP)
Proficient in all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, unit testing, system test, deployment and production support

Must be willing to work on site in New Albany Ohio (near Columbus/central Ohio) Long term, multi-year contract Will evaluate candidates direct on your W2 first – previous Apex CEs are preferred Vanilla JavaScript is the main technology – must have recent experience with JavaScript. Will do a coding assessment prior to the interview – interview will be 1 hour long Video Interview with the client reviewing the coding assessment. One and done after coding assessment is complete.
