Job Description

Job Description:

Reason for Need: Another need for RX Renu. Looking for someone that can be flexible with technology and work on a couple different projects within the portfolio. Specifically left it a bit open-ended with a wide range of technologies. Would like a versatile contractor. They might fill this role with an FTE and then backfill their work with this contractor. This is a net new need. The thought here is this will be a 6-12 month contract with extensions. They anticipate this being a long-term need. RX Renu is going towards AWS or Azure. If they end up working on EDAPT that would be GCP. Flexible on cloud experience

Overview:

• Looking for a Solution architect that focuses on applications and understands how to architect these solutions to the cloud.

o How do you move Teradata datamart to GCP?

o How do you replace the current architecture with Kafka for event streaming? There will be some autonomy with bringing in some new technology if the business case is there.

• Industry: the best would be PBM but he knows that’s very hard to find. Healthcare is good. Need to understand claims and medical data.

• Day to Day – Creating Solutions to bring applications (RX Renu and possibly EDAP) to a modern event driven architecture and creating the architecture to bring them to the cloud (cloud solution depends on the architecture).

• Technology Stack

o Cloud – Looking for some hands-on experience here as it pertains to architecture.

o Agile Architecture – How to move from Waterfall to Project Agile Lean perspective (SAFE not required). Just understand how to work within project teams here.

o Event driven architecture Experience – Kafka for messaging streams.

o Pega (Nice to have) – Looking to move in this direction in the future

o Java

o Spring boot/Git

o Kubernetes

o Microservices.

o Big data is always nice but not super important here since the Data Architects branched off to a separate team under EDAPT
