This Software Engineer role will be working with the Global IdAM (Identity and Access Management) Governance team on multiple access control work streams within a global cyber security program. This position will assist the Global IdAM Governance team design and manage QBE’s global SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) environments including the implementation of Life Cycle Management (LCM). This position will also provide support to end-to end identity & access management tooling and services, including application integration/onboarding, owning the relationships with suppliers and internal QBE technology service delivery teams. Responsible for ensuring day-to-day services run according to service standards and achieve business objectives, operational requirements for new or changing services are met, and that plans are in place and managed so that services remain current and supportable. This will require working unusual hours to accommodate the global team with primary team members in the US, UK, and Australia.

Job Description Summary

Support and manage design, modify, administer of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and assist the Global IdAM Governance team in the implementing project of Life Cycle Management (LCM). Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of provisioning. Familiar with a variety of the access control field concepts, practices, and procedures. Support and manage essential process documentation and technical solutions by collaborating with the Global IdAM Governance team to gather requirements, provide guidance and help execute plans to support global effective access controls. Collaborate with Governance Manager on projects and larger initiatives requiring risk assessment, process and technical expertise. Ability to problem solve and implement new ideas, whilst inspiring creativity with the teams you work with. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, collaboration and empowerment within the team to actively engage employees and ensure delivery of team objectives

Primary Responsibilities
• Accountable for SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Administration and Implementation
• Develop, deploy and implement application onboarding and Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities according to QBE standards and guidelines
• Develop technical project plans and aid in project resourcing
• Ability to transfer knowledge, train team members and support ongoing activities
• Provide end-user and technical support, troubleshoot and resolve IIQ issues according to QBE’s internal monitoring and incident management processes
• Ensure a capacity plan exists and is supported through capacity modelling and an appropriate demand plan
• Manage and own the service improvement plan working collaboratively across both supplier and internal QBE service & change delivery organizations
• Accountable for the day-to-day operational relationship with suppliers, driving to achieve service levels, performance and availability and anticipating issues
• Communicate business and corresponding service delivery priorities to Global Infrastructure Services, Application Teams and suppliers
• Collaborate and build relationships with Technical Service Owners and Identity & Access Management Analysts by regularly communicating to establish the technical vision, analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs and gather information to meet requests within area of responsibility and achieve service level agreements
• Accountable for validating the business need, solution integrity and priority for requests for service using subject matter expertise from relevant QBE teams or suppliers
• Ensure incidents and problems for their assigned services are managed effectively and efficiently
