This position is remote but candidates local to Atlanta, GA. This is an 18 month contract.

Software Architect

Design and development of high quality, efficient, and maintainable application code in a team environment with challenging deadlines on a large-scale enterprise cloud-based web application
Utilize Scrum development methodologies for Agile development
Increase your effectiveness by learning and utilizing new technologies and understanding of healthcare processes and data
Skills and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications

5 + years of experience in design and development with Microsoft C# .NET, ASP. NET MVC
Experience in AngularJS and JavaScript
Experience with large-scale hosted application development in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
Working knowledge of data-structures, algorithms, paradigms, and software design patterns
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the software industry in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree education requirement
Additional Qualifications

Experience with AWS cloud development and large-scale, high volume hosted applications
Experience with single page applications (SPA), NodeJS, NPM, and Webpack
Proficient in utilizing Object-oriented Programming (OOP) design and practices
Good understanding of concurrency and multithreaded processes
Experience with large-scale web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, REST
Experience with SQL-based databases (preferably RDS PostgreSQL)
Experience with Docker
Experience with BDD and unit test frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor
Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with HL7 is a plus
Experience with development tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and TFS
Experience with statistical methodologies and techniques is a plus
Experience working in an Agile environment with strong test automation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information on both an end-user and technical level
