Job Description

The interoperability project coordinator will be responsible for managing the project schedule for various interoperability projects throughout RIDOH. This position will track progress across all project plan items and be responsible for scheduling and managing project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

work closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources and timeframes for projects
perform various coordinating duties such as scheduling and risk management
Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current
Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing memos, meeting minutes and emails
Skillset

3-5 years of relevant experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Team-management and leadership skills
Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
Attention to details even under pressure
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Laboratory or infectious disease experience a plus
Technical Skillset

Microsoft Office 365 Suite – Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Agile Project Methodology – Kanban board management
Experience working on healthcare interoperability projects.
