Required Skills
MUST HAVE: Goggle cloud (GCP) experience, ideally at least 3-5yrs of it. As well as some kind of Terraform background, and ideally some hands on exp with Kubernetes, and ideally some exp with CICD pipelines and processes. We can sub-vend or layer for this role as well. SUMMARY Role consists of executing necessary Cloud Services in support of PetSmart Cloud Platform teams as well as Development Organizations. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Experience with cloud technologies required • 3-5 Years of relatable experience • Direct on the job experience with Google Cloud Product (GCP) PREREQUISITE COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS • Ability to communicate with internal customer to ensure understanding of • Ability to influence and motivate team, peers, and leaders • Collaboration required across multiple teams across PetSmart (IT and Business) • Learning agility of new technology a must PREREQUISITE TECHNICAL SKILLS • Deliver and execute GCP Cloud Platform vision that is identified through collaboration between Cloud Platform teams and Internal Customers • General understanding of Cloud Networks and on-premise networks • Linux fundamental skills required to ensure success within the PetSmart GCP environment • Ability to write code utilizing Terraform to deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Ability to work within an Agile environment utilizing sprints as a part of your work intake • Strong team skills that encourage collaboration between departments and other project teams • Ability to troubleshoot necessary technical issues to resolve production issues as required • Strong ability and desire to learn new tricks • Must possess an automation first mindset • Practical experience with CI/CD methodology and tooling PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES • Execute necessary provisioning of Cloud Platform requests in support of our Cloud Platform and Internal Customers • Responsible to delivery necessary Cloud Infrastructure within GCP • Communicate with other teams (ie. Network, InfoSec, DBA’s, Product Teams) where appropriate to ensure alignment of code and delivery of products • Stays current on new features that are being delivery by GCP • Help ensure testing success across Cloud Platform • Execute necessary work utilizing sprints across both Cloud Platform and Development teams • Work within environment of collaboration across Cloud Platform, Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, InfoSec and Development Teams • Coordinates as necessary across other Cloud Platform Product Owners and Development Product Owners
