Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Java 8 or 11
• Spring Boot / Microservices
• Multithreading for the cert engine
• Caching
• All batches that live in Kafka
• DBs – just basics, create tables, query tables, stored procs are nice to have
• Manual testing experience
• DevOps experience
Project/Team/Role Details:
Project Scope / Components: Kicking off this month, 12 people / 2 scrum teams. Building 2 tools (Workflow Tracking and Certification [certifying data is accurate]). Need both tools to remediate a blockage (teams are manually certifying now).
Project is Q4 à EOY 2022
Team Size & Breakdown:
Each team will have a Delivery Lead
2 QE (Selenium / Cucumber)
2 FE Engineers (React)
8 BE Engineers (Java 8 or 11 / Spring / Microservices / SQL Server – Nice to have Kafka, MongoDB)
Development Methodology: Agile
High-Level Individual Duties: Prototype us built and they have versions already that they can use…
o 8 back end engineers (2 Sr. and 6 mid-level)
· Design pattern is built
· Will be building backend from the back up
§ Different types of skills
§ Mainly java 8 or 11
§ Spring boot
§ Multi-threading for the certification engine and caching
§ Data will be batches but it lives in kafka
§ Building microservices
§ SQL Server/basics, create tables, query, create stored procedures (Complex stuff is done by the DBA)
§ DevOps is great
§ All on Prem work
§ +Kafka
§ +Mongo DB experience
